Miguel Takes Out A Fan During Performance

WOW!!! This has been the talk of the internet since last night at the Billboard Music Awards.
During Miguels performance, he attempted to jump from stage to stage, OVER the crowd in the middle. His execution was off & ALMOST fell short. In the process he landed partially on a fan, slamming her head & neck into the stage.

When he leaped from the first stage you could see right away that it was going to be close. It almost looked like a stage dive.
Miguel & Khyati were interviewed backstage after the show & Khyati seemed to be ok. She was icing her arm.
IMMEDIATELY Miguel was being Photoshopped into meme’s – On turnbuckles of wrestling rings, posed as the white power ranger etc.

Though she admits that she would have to step back from her music to start a family.

Demi explains that shes been working since she was 8 yrs old & had her first audition when she was 5 – She said that yes she has goals for her music & career, but her ULTIMATE goal is to have a family.

Paramore Admit They Never Lived The High School Dream

Before taking the stage for their sold out show tonight, Paramore stopped by the Kiss 95.1 studios to hang with 20 lucky fans who were chosen for Drex & Maney’s Superstar Series. While the trio lacked one important member, both Hayley and Jeremy held down the fort as our lucky listener Madison interviewed them. (Taylor had broken his foot so he’s recuperating.)

Madison is a huge Paramore fan so she was beyond stoked to sit down with the group to ask some serious and also hilarious questions. While the audience contained quite a few high schoolers, Hayley admitted they never had the chance to be part of the ‘high school experience’ since the band began to see success. ”There’s always sacrifices. I just think back to when we were in high school,” Hayley reminisces, ”we were touring so we missed the regular high school life” like football games and proms. But don’t think for a second they’re ungrateful. “Would I trade that stuff for what we’re doing,” she asked herself during the interview, which immediately answered. “I don’t think it would be worth it.”

Now, the band is selling out arenas across the world, performing on TV shows and even partaking in some of the biggest festivals in the world. While Taylor, Jeremy and Hayley travel the world, there are a few things about each other that other band members find insane. For one, Hayley is always late. She even showed up wearing a pin saying “this is the earliest I’ve ever been late”. While Paramore fans already could have guessed Hayley’s fault, she was quick to say Jeremy always orders too much food after shows and Taylor is such a perfectionist, he gets really upset over performances that the other band members thought were awesome.

“At shows, if he makes even one tiny mistake, he spins out about it for days… I’ve literally heard him make a mistake one time [since the band began.]” Hayley laughed, explaining further that Taylor thought he didn’t do so great on Jimmy Kimmel while the rest, to this day, can’t figure out why.

Paramore are performing their second-to-last sold out show this tour before heading overseas.

Cody Simpson On What To Expect From His New Album ‘Surfers Paradise’

Less than a year after releasing his debut full-length pop album, Paradise, 16-year-old Cody Simpson just announced new music is on the way. Paradise reached No. 27 on the Billboard 200 and produced Simpson’s catchy breakthrough single “Wish U Were Here,” which helped him garner a tour with Justin Bieber and a legion of zealous fans. While Simpson has much in common with Bieber–they both got their start posting YouTube videos of themselves performing cover songs–he had a hand in writing many of the tracks on his albums.

For the sophomore album, titled Surfers Paradise (out July 16), Simpson said he knew exactly how he wanted it to sound and the type of music he wanted to represent him as an artist. He describes it as a “classic summer album” and said to expect a few pop songs like his latest single, “Pretty Brown Eyes,” a light-hearted club track which introduces his rap skills, along with a few quieter acoustic tracks.

“I grew up playing the acoustic guitar and I decided I really wanted to go back to my roots on this album,” he told Radio.com. “I grew up listening to Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer so they definitely inspired a lot of the album too. There’s a really mellow, acoustic sound to it.”

Along with writing his own songs, Simpson also produced a number of tracks on Surfers Paradise, including “Awake All Night,” which he recently released online.

I’ve sang the national anthem several times and many big events including 2 minor league baseball games, and a Notre Dame hockey game. I can understand the pressure of singing it and how your mind like to do some crazy things with that song. I’ve never royal butchered it though like this girl.

I feel completely embarrassed for Alexis Normand who sang the national anthem at a hockey game between the Portland Winterhawks and the Halifax Mooseheads. Now it’s even more of a tragedy because the game was called the 2013 Memorial Cup (supposed to be very patriotic). I will give it to her though, even after the complete massacre of the song, she finished strong.

Would you walk off the ice and not finish or just try to fumble your way through and then crawl in a hole after??

I think I’d walk off midway through if it got this bad!

Out of more than 500 people who registered to win a meet & greet with Paramore, 10 lucky fans were chosen to meet the band in an exclusive Drex & Maney Superstar Series meet and greet!

Of course, we took it a step further and offered the opportunity of a lifetime to a fan to interview the band in front of everyone. Tonight, Paramore is taking the stage at the Fillmore Charlotte to a sold out crowd after a three-and-a-half year hiatus. Needless to say, the show is going to be wild.

Taylor Swift was a big winner at the Billboard Music Awards last night, or as I like to call them “The Billboard Karaoke Awards”. It seemed everyone the performed was obviously singing over a background track.

Taylor wasn’t a big fan of her bestie Selena Gomez chatting and kissing her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber backstage though and it was all caught on the Samsung Galaxy backstage cam. Look at her reaction as she spots Selena Gomez, kissing Justin Bieber backstage and won’t quit talking to him. Just watch Taylor the whole time. Priceless. (WATCH the video …. Jennifer Lopez & Pitbull ‘Live It Up’ In Sultry New Video

Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have teamed up again for their latest party anthem, “Live It Up,” the lead single off Lopez’s yet-to-be-announced eighth studio album. In the new music video, the duo joins forces from the fashion runways in Paris to the beautiful beaches of St. Tropez.

J.Lo and Pitbull, two of the biggest Latin stars working in the mainstream pop world, are far from strangers. Their first collaboration came about during Lopez’s 2009 promotional single “Fresh Out the Oven.” Drawing attention to her upcoming seventh album, which would come to be 2011′s Love?, the track was written by Amanda Ghost, Lopez, Pitbull and Pharell Williams. The track charted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart and thus began the duo’s working relationship.

Next up was 2011′s catchy “On the Floor,” which topped more than 18 singles charts and became the most successful single of Lopez’s career. The next year followed with the sexy “Dance Again.” Then-judge Lopez performed the track on American Idol, at which point her racy grinding had some questioning its presence on the family-friendly show. Perhaps taking this criticism to heart, J.Lo toned down her set when performed “Live It Up” last week on the season finale of American Idol.
