(CBS Radio) — Move over Justin Bieber — a recent survey has revealed that Americans like Adele more than the Biebs!

In a nationwide survey conducted last week by Public Policy Polling, Americans were asked to rate the likeability of various music stars.

According to the poll, Bieber is just not as likeable as he once was. Despite being awarded Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards in 2010 and 2012, only 20 percent of Americans surveyed found him likable. While Bieber’s Twitter account has significantly more followers than Adele’s account, Americans polled in the survey believe that Adele is the most likeable music artist around.

Adele received a 54 percent likeability rating, slightly more than Taylor Swift, who received a 53 percent likability rating.

While Bieber’s popularity has decreased in recent months, due in part to legal issues, among other things —  perhaps the Biebs can look at the one redeeming factor from the study…Americans surveyed found Bieber more likable than Chris Brown.
