Macklemore, who was born Ben Haggerty, is fast becoming the hottest new white rapper with his hit single “Thrift Shop”. It’s stuck at #1 on iTunes and has sold several million copies since it started blowing up the charts late December of 2012. The Seattle rapper released his debut studio album The Heist on October 9, 2012

Even with crazy radio play and huge single sales, it seems in today’s world you haven’t really made it until parodies of your song hit YouTube. Psy was a prime example of that fad last year. now Thrift Shop is the new viral song everyone is talking about. The parodies have begun.
