Gotye took the radio airwaves by storm this year with “Somebody That I Used To Know.” The elaborate body-painted music video is an artistic piece within itself so after numerous fans sent the singer their own artwork he decided it was time for it all to see the light of day.
Gotye created an album on flickr to showcase some of his favorite pieces of art. The 53 photos on his flickr album include hand-drawn caricatures of Gotye, a Russian doll holding his album in her hands, oil paintings, pencil portraits and more.

I've been gifted so much wonderful fan art in the last year that I thought I'd share it here:

The most common theme throughout the artwork is paintings of Gotye and Kimbra from their music video. Having received over 350 million views on YouTube and 1.5 million likes, the video continues to be one of the most talked about releases of 2012.
