Inside Chris Brown’s Plan To Snag Fashion And Beauty Bucks

Chris Brown has landed a contract with Wilhemina International modeling agency. The singer will be working with Wilhemina’s artist management division in the hopes of landing new fashion and beauty endorsements.

The agency cited Brown’s “dedication to charity work” as a major selling point, according to the New York Daily News.

“We recognize that Chris Brown is not just a voice, a dance or a lyric; he is a multi-faceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand into these industries,” said Taylor Hendrich, the Director of Wilhelmina Men.

The contract comes as Brown and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna have mended their relationship which was fractured after he was charged for assaulting her back in 2009. Despite his re-connection with Rihanna, Brown still faces other image issues. He’s being sued for a brawl that took place in June, which allegedly involved rapper Drake. And as recent as Halloween, he was caught in a controversy for his Taliban-styled costume.For his part, Brown is looking forward to promote art and he says the new partnership will help him do just that.

“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career,” said Brown.

As he extends his brand, he’ll be joining other celebs who are signed to the Wilhemina agency, including Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield and Keri Hilson.
