Rumors have been flying around about a stolen laptop after Justin Bieber tweeted about it a few days ago. The media ran wild with stories that there was all sort of personal information and pics and videos on the computer. It seemed as though the wholesome teen popstar was about to get a reality check in the adult industry.

Bieber himself tweeted “I had a lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and that is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect”

Even a fake twitter account was created tofan the rumors a little which Bieber responded to when they tweeted this:

A day later there were rumors of naked pics being leaked to which Bieber simply tweeted “since i was 14 i have had a lot of things said about me, from dying, to taking hormones, to dying again, to stuff about my family…to saying i had a baby with a woman i never even met. nude pics, drugs, my family, my character…but today…today i get to be in on it…

Turns out it was all a giant prank and publicity stunt by the Biebs himself to hype his new video with Nicki Minaj called “Beauty and The Beat” when he tweeted:
