Though only 19, Conor Maynard has taken the world by storm.   His first single “Can’t Say No” reached #2 on the UK charts and his album Contrast sat proudly at #1.  With such success overseas, he’s decided to make his way to the good ole USA!  And part of his promotional tour was hanging out with listeners of Kiss 95.1.

Our Kiss 95.1 girl, Maddy, won the opportunity to interview Conor privately before he performed a four song acoustic set at All American Pub and she definitely asked the hard hitting questions every fan wants to know… like what pick up line he likes to use.

And no, it isn’t “will you peel my banana” like his song “Another One” states: “Said she wanna peel my banana”.  The good news is, bananas definitely become part of this interview in some fashion.

“I get given a lot of bananas now… and some of them have gotten black and everything,” he jokes about his craziest fan gift.  “I thought you’d say that was your pickup line,” fan Augusta says as he laughs.   “No, I no… I don’t really want to go to prison at age 19,” he quips with his thick British accent.

Plus, Conor finally spills the beans on that awkward picture exchange during his “Vegas Girl” video.  Why does he ask for a massage, anyway?
