Is it November yet? One Direction fans already can’t wait, as the guys have promised to deliver their new album before the holidays hit.

The boys took to social media early this morning to announce the first single from the album, “Live While We’re Young” will be released for pre-order on iTunes worldwide at midnight as we switch over to Friday, August 24.

Bad news for American One Directioners though, a note under the video on YouTube advises:

“*pre-order markets may vary, check your local site. Pre-order also not available in US/ Canada / Japan”

Looks like you’ll have to wait! In the meantime, their announcement offers a look at Liam Payne’s new haircut. Zayn Malik’s blonde streak from the Olympics has gone missing, leaving us wondering: did he ditch it or was the announcement filmed before the Closing Ceremonies performance?

The single is expected to go out worldwide on October 1.
