Neon Hitch just dropped her summery new single “Gold,” featuring Tyga. The electro pop-infused track is the second single off her forthcoming album, Beg, Borrow, and Steal.

On the track Hitch combines her unique style of rapping and singing as heard on her first single, “Love U Betta,” and her feature in Gym Class Heroes’ “Get Yourself Back Home.”

“Grenade” singer Bruno Mars co-wrote “Gold,” where Hitch croons about light, love and…gold: “There’s no light in this room/It’s alright, we got you/You shine like gold/You walk by, cause a scene/All the girls, they agree/You shine like gold.”

Tyga jumps in with his verse, rapping, “What you want? Diamonds and gold?/Lifestyles of a Penthouse floor?/Right now I’m kinda into what you like/So tomorrow, no regrets, let it all flow.”

Hitch certainly doesn’t need a man to get the bling she wants, rocking unique on-stage ensembles featuring feathers, face paint and piles of jewelry.

Hitch revealed to Refinery29 that she dresses to stand out – not for comfort.

“Never comfort! I don’t know what style is but I guess I create my own style,” she said. “I just wear things that make me stand out and make me feel like a magical gypsy fairy.”
