Yeah yeah, I know that the trip you took to the beach was the best thing ever.

Awesome nights, parties, I mean it IS the beach and all.

But for those of us that can’t make it out the beach this year, and have to settle for the lake.

Here’s a list of a few reasons why the lake is actually better than the beach:

You Can Make Fires At The Lake:

I think you can on the beach too, but with everything so regulated at times, it’s hard to get away with that sorta thing..

Ocean Beaches Won’t Let You Do Anything Fun:

I don’t think this applies to every single beach out there because I have friends that have gone wild at the beaches… But some of them are strict.

Jumping Off The Docks Rules:

No better way to get in the lake, than jumping off of a dock as far as you can, and when your dog goes in after you, that’s awesome!

Lakes Have Rope Swings:

That’s something that’s very rare in the ocean, unless someone has a special setup, or it’s off their yacht.  Rope swings are the best, and you can make some memories on them too!

Parking Lots:

Usually the ocean parking lots are jam packed and it’s hard to get out of, lakes on the other hand, usually don’t have a parking lot….usually. lol

Partying Is Way Better On The Lake:

Everyone gets their boats, gets out to a sandbar or some meeting area, anchors down…And it’s game on!  Someone usually has that awesome music setup and brings the real life to the party!
