Why would 15,000 screaming girls descend on Uptown Charlotte full of glitter, Union Jacks and posters? Besides losing your hearing for four days, it’s obvious new British boy band One Direction hit the Queen City! While thousands of girls waited in the heat for a glimpse at the five boys, Drex & Maney went backstage with our private dressing room winners and interviewed Liam and Louis privately.

But instead of giving the same old boring interview, Drex & Maney asked things a little dirtier. Who’s the dirtiest on the bus and who is the dirtiest in the head. Their answers may surprise you!

On a more appropriate note, Liam and Louis admitted to meeting some pretty big stars since becoming highly successful in America. “Will Smith was the most exciting,” Liam admits. “But the one we’re most excited about going to meet is…well me and Louis recently took up surfing and have been surfing quite a lot…and we actually might be going surfing with Kelly Slater who’s the best surfer in the world.”

Things are looking pretty bright for the band who already hit #1 in the UK and are close to reigning in the top spot here in the US. But when they’re not performing to thousands or doing a ton of interviews, they admit to acting like normal teenage boys. “I don’t know how it got to this point in the bus, but we started doing weird dances to songs and then just filming them, it’s so funny,” said Liam. Sadly, they refused to show us them!
