Have you ever had your phone on vibrate and you’re somewhere minding your own business and your phone is hanging out in your pocket, and then you feel your phone vibrate…

You reach for it and, BAM…nothing.

Researchers are calling this new Phenomenon “phantom vibration syndrome” and “vibranxiety”.

These “Phantom Vibrations” were felt by 68% of the people that took the survey, with 87% of those feeling them weekly, and 13% daily.

I’d fall more into the weekly category.

One scientist speculated that maybe it has to do with Electricity, saying:

“I expect it’s related to some of the electrical signals coming through in a transmission, touching on the surrounding nerves, giving a feeling of a vibration,”

Whatever it is, it’s just weird.  I felt the need to blog about it today because it just happened to me last night!
