The new rumor is that Lindsay Lohan was involved in car wreck recently and lied to cops about whether she was behind the wheel or not.

This could violate her probation (from stealing) and cause her to face jail time for more than one thing.

While Lohan was getting checked out for injuries at the hospital, Police paid her a visit.  Lindz told the cops that she wasn’t driving and that her assistant was behind the wheel of the Porsche.

When Police interviewed Lohan’s assistant, the story changed and now Lohan was driving.

Police are now preparing a report that will include Lohan’s lie, and as you know, it’s a crime to provide false info to a police officer.

This is where Lindsay could be facing jail time.
