Beyonce Shares Crazy Diet
Beyonce looks better than ever! It’s almost hard to believe that she gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy Carter, in February. The weight just seemed to fall right off her after the birth leaving many people questioning if she ever really carried the baby. Let’s put aside the conspiracy theories because Beyonce insists she was pregnant!
So how did Beyonce manage to drop all the excess baby weight? Thinking back to pictures that came out late in her pregnancy, Beyonce didn’t really gain weight everywhere. She seemed to just gain the extra pounds in the mid section. Jessica Simpson on the other hand gained some serious weight during her pregnancy and she got BIG everywhere!
This past weekend Beyonce had a series of concerts at the brand new Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This was her first performance since the birth of Blue Ivy and she didn’t skip a beat. Her body was in peak shape and you’d never know she’s a new mommy. So what’s Beyonce’s secret to dropping the post baby pounds?
During her Saturday night concert she shared her weight loss secrets with the audience. According to the New York Post, Beyonce opened up about her drastic weight loss between songs. “Y’all have no idea how hard I worked!” the 30-year-old exclaimed, “I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!”
So Beyonce was on the lettuce diet? Is that even safe? I know the answer to that is a BIG NO!!! Lettuce has very little vitamins and definitely doesn’t have protein! Even if this is really how Beyonce lost the excess pounds she shouldn’t have shared it with everyone.
Beyonce’s a role model to many young girls. How many of those girls want to drop some weight and feel fat? Following in the footsteps of Beyonce is not the right way to lose weight. It’s dangerous and unhealthy. So I shame on you Beyonce for promoting a risky diet. Excess pounds are much better than being unhealthy and malnourished.
She should have just lied and said she had a personal chief prepare all of her meals and that she worked out with a top notch trainer!
