While on a whirlwind tour to promote his new album, B.o.B. stopped by Kiss 95.1 today to chat with Drex & Maney. His new album “Strange Clouds” hits stores on May 1 but he’s letting radio fans get the first glimpse into the album.
After playing his new track “Both Of Us” featuring Taylor Swift live on air, he opened up about working with such an eclectic array of artists on the album. “They all happen naturally with me actually meeting the artists and playing the song personally for them. It didn’t come down from like ‘hey you should do a song with such-and-such’,” he admits.
It seems personal relationships mean the most to the “So Good” rapper. The new album includes huge names like Taylor Swift, Trey Songz, OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder and yes… even the voice of God Morgan Freeman. And if that isn’t enough, get a taste of more collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and T.I. “Those are some of the better songs on the album in terms of getting the best of both worlds,” he says about the numerous duets. “I show a lot of people more of my solo work [on the album.]“
But it wasn’t all business with Drex & Maney, they wanted to have a little fun as well. After announcing B.o.B. would be in the studio this morning, a magician by the name of Carl Michael called in at 8:20am and told us he could predict a card that the rapper wouldn’t pick until later in the 9am hour.

Then within 45 minutes Carl was standing in the Kiss 95.1 studio with B.o.B. and performed a card trick that left everyone’s jaws on the floor.
After wowing everyone in the studio along with B.o.B’s entire road crew, we took the show to the listeners and let them listen to a few tracks before anyone else while providing brunch for everyone. Check out all of the meet & greet pictures!
