Claire Danes and her hit show Homeland are coming back for a second season of filming in Charlotte and they are looking for a bunch of extras! The 2011 Golden Globe winner for Best Television Series airs on Showtime, and follows a CIA officer, played by Danes, who believes a U.S. Marine, played by Damian Lewis, held captive by al-Qaeda has been turned and now threatens the United States.

If you missed the first season’s open call, The Tona B. Dahlquist Casting Company is doing it again this Saturday at Carolina Mall in Concord from 1-4pm on Sunday (April 15th). They are looking for all ages and types and have specifically asked for Military Types, Government & Political types. As well as, those that could portray skin heads and those that could portray Amish (men with beards willing to let us adjust).

Those of all ethnic decent to include -Middle Eastern, Indian, Persian, Chinese, Japanese, Hispanic, etc…are especially needed! Plus, they are seeking the following to work as Stand Ins; Caucasian Female -Blonde, light eyes 5’7 and of slender build, Caucasian Male -Brown Hair 5’11/ 175 ish, Caucasian Male -5’10/ slender, Blonde/Light Brown hair, light eyes, African-American Male -6’1 – 6’3/ 200-225 lbs, dark hair, dark eyes.

Not only are they casting for Homeland, but they are also casting for a new Cinemax series called Banshee as well. There is a lot of opportunity for you to make it on the small screen so you can brag to your friends! I’m definitely going to try out and see what happens.

All you need to bring with you in a current, non-returnable head shot of yourself. It doesn’t need to be professional just current. You can keep track of other casting info on the following sites:
