There’s still a lot of talk about yesterday’s Super Bowl Halftime show. Some people were in awe by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Madonna[/lastfm]‘s performance and others weren’t impressed by her alleged lip synching.

But it looks like Madge may have been upstaged by another artist during the show. She was joined on stage with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicki Minag[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]LMFAO[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee-Lo[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]M.I.A.[/lastfm] Which one the other performers is the talk of the show?Although there wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction during the halftime show NBC and the NFL are issuing apologies because one performer stepped over the line.

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]M.I.A. [/lastfm] took the stage and decided to flip off the camera and now parents organizations are up in arms. It wasn’t a bare breast like we saw in 2004 on Janet Jackson, but parents are outraged!

I honestly didn’t even see M.I.A.’s little gesture. I guess it happened so fast or I was mid bite into my yummy hot wings.

NBC released this official apology: “We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime,” NBC said in a statement. “It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late.”

Also the NFL issued their own separate apology as well. “There was a failure in NBC’s delay system,” the league said in a statement. “The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans.”

I wonder if this little gesture will result in any sort of fines for NBC? CBS was fined $500k back in 2004 for Janet Jackson’s alleged wardrobe malfunction!
