It’s always sad when a TV show you grew up watching ends! Well the latest rumors are saying Fox’s The Simpsons may be coming to an end. Can you imagine?

The show has been a hit on Fox for 23 seasons! It’s the longest running prime-time TV series ever! But last week rumors were also saying that Fox was going to create an entire TV channel dedicated to The Simpsons! So why is the show now in danger of coming to an end?

Apparently the actors that are the voices of the shows characters are in a contract dispute. They are trying to negotiate a new contract with 20th Century Fox, but things aren’t working out so well. The studio wants the actors to take a 45% pay cut!!!!! Yikes! How could a show that’s been on for so long cut the actor’s pay? I guess the bad economy has hit them as well.

The actors are willing to take a 30% cut, but it seems the studio isn’t up for negotiating. They’ve threatened to pull the plug on the show if the actors don’t take their offer!

Well even if the show ends we have lots of shows to watch in reruns-23 seasons worth!!!
