The Big Sweep is this Saturday, October 1st from 9a to 1p. We urge you to help clean up our area creeks and lakes. In 2010, over 700 volunteers removed 16,000 pounds of trash!
When: Saturday, October 1, 2011
Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Meet: At any of the Big Sweep locations listed below. See a map of locations.
Bring: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
Wear: Old clothes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty, sturdy boots or shoes
Provided: Gloves, trash bags, snacks and drinks
You can volunteer at one of the staffed sites. Or get your own group together, clean up a creek and report your results online.
All children 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
