[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jennifer Lopez [/lastfm]has re-found sucess as the American Idol judge this past season. Now her and her husband, Marc Anthony, are doing a reality talent show of their own. Lopez said this will be “the biggest thing that I’ve been involved with yet.”
Lopez’s new show ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, will have her and her husband traveling around the world to find the most unique talents from 21 different countries. I will be filmed in three languages and broadcast simultaneously on leading TV networks across the Western Hemisphere. The search for the talent begins in July.
The Chosen will be directed by the genius behind American Idol, Simon Fuller. They won’t hold auditions, the team will go out into countries and ask local to find the hidden talent from around the world. “Leaving no stone unturned,” Anthony says.
They want to look in places not typical like club, dance studios, underground dance halls and festivals in villages, towns and cities. They will be joined by tour-director-to-the stars, Jamie King who said, “This is less about competition and more about finding great talent, cultivating that talent, putting it on stage and giving it to the rest of the world.”
